Two police officers must bring down a mad man named
Castello, who is a big time gangster that has committed every crime in the
book. Leave it to Scorsese to direct a gangster film with the biggest stars in
the world and also make a wonderful film. The cast is perfect and the dialogue
is very rememberable. The length of the film is very long but it’s worth
watching more than once. This isn’t one of those films that is focused on the
protagonist that the viewer doesn’t understand what’s the antagonist’s plans
are. Everyone gets a ton of screen time, monologues, or even comedic remarks
that make the film more realistic and sometimes very disturbing. There’s
nothing bad about this film or anything I would want to change. Verdict: 9.9
